Happytime Apocalypse

Happytime Apocalypse is an art collective, founded in 2010 by Sami A Saurus, Dusty Rockets and Jeanne Stephens. Upon moving to Seattle in 2012, we found other like minded artists to join forces with us and have had a gallery space at the Greenwood Collective since 2014. We as a collective believe that even though the world can be a harsh place, and has its own trials and tribulations, that we can come together and provide an escape by bringing happiness and joy through our art and the community we have built. The name Happytime Apocalypse itself refers to enjoying and living in the moment, despite the shit that world throws at us at times. With a good community, friendship, and with artistic expression, we can make it through anything...... together.

Venn

Venn is a gallery, studio, and workspace within The Greenwood Art Collective intended to bring together the creative aptitudes of paper-based artists and craftspeople. Our intent is to foster individual growth in these fields both by providing the physical space and resources such processes require and through our co-working and co-learning through and from one another. Works on display include painting, monotype, letterpress, assemblage, and traditional and alt-process photography.
